Sad news about Marco. A gifted rider who wasn't afraid to mix it with the established names. A real shock. RIP MARCO.

just seen the crash very bad nothing edwards or rossi could do to avoid marco but it wont make it any easier for them

A tragic loss. Marco Simoncelli was always an entertaining rider and was a true star. RIP Marco.

I'm really gutted by this, he was the future of Moto GP, a unique racer.

very sad news, he was a terrific racer, watched him at silverstone 2011, RIP.

indeed very sad news, Marco was one of the best riders to watch on the track, not afraid to mix things up and get mixed in the the big boys.
personally the way he's been riding i was expecting him to get the Championship in a year or two. He'll be missed.
I also feel for Edwards and Rossi, nothing they could have done but they aren't going to feel any better for it.
