Summer good times
« on: January 18, 2013, 03:43:41 PM »
Thinking back to September, I went to Normandy for a long weekend on the GSX with the Bridport club.  Weather wasn't too bad and I quite enjoyed it.  Then, when we were due back, Brittany Ferries called to say we couldn't go back because they were on strike.  They offered us a trip back but we had to ride to Calais and then home from Dover.  It seemed a long way at the time in occasionally heavy rain and wind.  Now in really 'orrible weather, I remember it as good times. :headbang:  Spring can't be far off now, can it? :icon_sunny:
