Worn out throttle bodie screws
« on: December 18, 2015, 08:53:07 AM »
Hi, I would like to balance the throttle bodies on my GSX650F because it is slowly getting out of sync. For that I need to configure the screws at every cylinder. The problem I have is that the screws are really worn out and stuck, no way I get movement in it. What makes it difficult is that the screws are inside a pipe. I showed it to the motorcycle repair shop as well, but they are not really willing to repair/replace it because will become really expensive.
Has anyone experience with this to get them loose or experience replacing the screws with new screws?

Here an example of the screws I am talking about: ( I know this is not a GSX650F and not a injection)

The carbs in the picture are inverted, the screw's you should be adjusting are on the top of the throttle body's situated next to the injectors according to the illustrations in the service manual.

I have the same with cilinder 4
I have to ajust the other three to match the 4th.

When you can't synchronise it anymore... buy a used one on Ebay
