top box and mounting system for a 1250FA
« on: September 27, 2016, 10:34:16 AM »
Hi.

Can someone please point me in the right direction for a topbox and mounting system? have looked everywhere and cannot find anything. been on a few websites but it's all greek to me. I dont want a massive one that sits too high as it will increase the center of gravity.

Cheers

They all sit quite high regardless of the system that you use I have the Givi rack and monokey topbox which has been on my bike since day 1 and is still as solid as houses the 650 and the 1250 use the same sub frame and so does the k7-k8 650 bandit so there should be plenty out there second hand

I replaced the standard suzuki one that came with the bike for a Givi. Better load carrying capacity and can get helmet in. Dont worry about the centre of gravity. You will not notice the difference.
