GPS Sat Nav Mount for GSX 1250FA
« on: November 03, 2016, 05:43:59 PM »
Hi all,
Just purchased a Garmin 595LM for my GSX 1250 FA.
I'm looking for a GPS mount to sit above the clocks? emailed one manufacturer who does it for my mates bike (Honda Crossrunner) but they haven't come back to me. I can get the handlebar mount, which I will do as a last resort, but really want something that will not obscure my clocks/vision etc.
Any ideas or suggestions please?
Cheers

Thanks Biker 1250
I did the same, but the Nuvi series is not compatible with the 595LM. (At least that was it says)

I've got my Tomtom sat dead centre on the handlebars, high enough that I can get my keys in the ignition.  When sat on the bike from my field of vision it appears to sit just below the speedo then therefore I can see everything.  There's not much room between the speedo and screen to mount something in a tidy fashion unless you've got a double bubble screen which gives more room.

Thanks SJ. Just the feed back i needed. Found  two that mount on the handle bars. Motech & Touratech. I'll use their measurements and see how much wiggle room I have..
